Elections Module Status
Our elections module is making great progress. Both the GooglesMap interface and the JPGraph interface have been proven out so voting boundary maps and statistics graphs and charts can be displayed directly from within the module.
MySQL database tables and administration of the stored data now exists for Elections, Political Parties, Candidates, Voting Result Reporters, Divisions, Municipalities, Polling Areas, Polling Stations.
Remaining tasks: 1. Use the Voter Lookup imported records to determine and record the registered voter totals for every polling station. Also provide ability for admin to edit these values. 2. Establish table and administration for recording voter turnout hourly totals. 3. Create templates for displaying content such as upcoming elections, election in progress, final election results and election archives. 4. Expand map overlays to include markers.
